Done dana done

Our long trips to Gachibowli from since a week have finally come to an end as our class work has been completed and we are only left with the documentation and seminar part.After our class, seven of us went to Vinod's house while fooling around during the journey.We took some snaps before leaving the place and here's one of them, pasted above.

As we reached his place, we started fooling with each other and played some hilarious jokes on each other.We played cards for sometime and then it started raining.There was a loud noise from the transformer and the power was gone.The weather was cool and it took Amarnath into an unusual mood and that's when he started asking some funny doubts.Other than seven of us,we had the company of two other guys who stay in the pent-house.With around 9 boys in a single room you might expect what the topic should have been.We all rolled with laughter as each one started asking their doubts.When power came we saw a movie called Ragini MMS and there was a power cut yet again in between and a few of us,including me went to sleep.When power came,they started playing NFS,but I didn't wake up until 7:00 am in the morning.

As I was browsing through my friend's mobile,I came across a couple of pics which was taken on our outing to savor some palm wine near our college.

Damn

It's been three days since attending BSNL RTTC for our mini-project and it's been a good experience so far,except for the second day.The first day was obviously good because it was our first day and we were filled with excitement.The center was located in Gachibowli and we had to take an MMTS train to Lingampalli and then reach our destination in a bus.The distance is approximately 30 kms from my home and the journey itself is pretty exhausting.It takes one and a half hour to reach the place.But, I like train journey and so enjoy my travel.

First day they taught us about the basic concepts of GSM and the functioning of mobile phone.It was quite interesting.I met one of my old friends' from school whose name is Pavan Yadav.It was after 5 years that we saw each other again.

The second day was fine until the first class got over,after which we were literally screwed by this Madam who took a boring class continuously for around 2 hours and immediately another Sir continued for an other hour or so.I felt like running away from that room.

The third day turned quite good.As we entered our campus we saw around three buses painted D.Ramanaidu and a dozen of cars parked at the entrance.There was a film shooting going on starring Venkatesh,Trisha and Saloni.We later got to know that it was a film called Bodyguard.Venkatesh was looking handsome in a black bodyguard uniform with aviators and Trisha looked pretty as well.We attended only one and a half class and spent rest of the time watching the shooting.

Our HOD is quite furious at our batch because we failed to submit our abstracts on time.So Amar will be going to college tomorrow and submit them.Reached home at around 7:00 and saw some part of the movie Apocalypto,directed by Mel Gibson.Awesome it is.Should finish the rest of the movie tomorrow.

I called that dreaded number again and was greeted by complete silence.And when I started speaking, everything was fine until my ear drums blasted with the roar of her grand mom.The call was disconnected after she finished cursing me.I do not know why I call her or why I feel like talking to her.I felt a little humiliated today,but I know that such kind of things are a part and parcel,when you take some stupid decisions in life and make it worse by getting into worthless things,maybe people and then repent on our past and fuck up the present.She isn't anything to me now nor she ever was.Then why? She was something to me ,which I don't know and that something could last only for a year.Now I'm alone in the sands of desert trying to search for something in the grains of sand that only keep slipping away the more hard I try to catch it.

Man is the most dangerous animal

I watched a movie called 'Zodiac' directed by the awesome director,David Fincher who also has films like Fight Club and The Social Network to his credit.I was amazed by the intelligence of this anonymous serial murderer in California who is the protagonist of the movie.He calls himself the Zodiac.In fact it is a film based on the real events that occurred in the 1960's .The killer's infamous letters and his ciphers are the best part in him.One such original letter,I will post here and you will get an idea about his mind (Click on the pic to get a larger view) .

The director did an excellent job in filming this documentary kind of a movie and Jack Gyllenhaal was superb in the role of Robert Graysmith.It is a must watch movie,if you want to know the psych of a notorious serial killer who actually lived in California.

Dead & Dancing \m/

Yesterday,I came to know that a Rock Band called "Four Clovers" were performing at Inorbit Mall,Hitex.I always wanted to watch a live band playing and so asked my friend if he would like to join me.Two other friends,Kartik and Dinesh were also coming along and so four of us went to the concert.One of my friend,Kartik, himself is a part of some other Metal Band.He is a guitarist and a vocalist.So he explained me about all this alternative rock,classic rock,death metal and stuff and how to differentiate them.He, being a metal-head, attended most of the concerts in the city and I could get all the gyaan from him.Some time ago I started listening to some metal like Nirvana,Cannibal Corpse,Six feet Under and I felt a liking towards death metal.I loved the growls and the guitar.I bought myself a Six feet under band t-shirt a few days later.And geeting back to present,yeah,Dinesh was running a tech website called Demon's Tech.As they were my intermediate college friends we chatted about our other mutual friends.Nitish and Rahul he said were doing good and as all these guys stay in Habsiguda it's pretty easy to stay in touch.I was missing them.The show was not really good and the only good part was the drummer who also plays for Nirvana.Then,we chilled for sometime in the mall window shopping and clicking pictures.We entered a place called Inhabit and I instantly fell in love with the place.It had some of the most exotic pieces of home decor.I loved the lavish looking Hookah Pots,the brass Buddha idols and the antique carpets.The pleasant weather, the cool breeze blowing across from the Durgam Cheruvu,everything felt like heaven in this month of Summer.We sunk our teeth into some warm donuts and sipped Coke and went Brrrr.. Lol :P Had a really good time with friends after a long time.

Tranquility

The last few days were really special because I learnt so much,what I didn't learn in all the 3 years of my engineering life.One day,as a part of my usual routine I opened the Peta India website and while reading some articles I came across a video about the cruelty in China's Fur Industry.I almost felt like throwing up after watching it and called my mother and sister and showed them the video.They went like, wtf?? My mom exclaimed,"Why are these humans so cruel.How can they treat animals in such a cruel manner?".I said that's the reality and many people aren't aware about that and it's really good that at least Peta is bringing in the awareness.Then I clicked on the Be an activist link and filled up my details and sent the mail.After a week,I received an email saying that there is a demo in Hyderabad and that they required activists for the event.I was on my toes and immediately replied the email saying that I would like to participate in the demo.A couple of days later,I got a call from a guy called Satish Reddy who is a member of Peta Hyderabad.He said that the Peta campaign coordinator,Himani Shetty would be in Hyderabad the next day and that there would be meeting to discuss about the event.We met in a hotel at Panjagutta and I was greeted by five people.They were Satish Reddy,Himani Shetty,Kiran,Manpreeth Singh and Vishwanath.I noticed that I was the youngest person among them.Himani started explaining about the Demo and what each person had to do on the D-Day.Then we had some lunch and I got to know that the place for the demo was Citi Center Mall,Banjara Hills.We introduced ourselves to each other and got to know that Himani and Manpreeth Singh were Vegans and the rest were Vegetarians.Then we left for the place and rehearsed our parts.Next we were told about the costumes which,Vishwanath,Kiran and I had to wear.We needed some black t-shirts and black shoes for the Grim Reaper costumes.So Kiran and I were handed over with the work of buying shoes later in the evening.Then we went to Satish's office in Panjagutta and spent some time talking with Himani.She showed us some videos of animal abuse in various places in order to get us inspired.Then we tried our costumes and took some snaps.Vishwanath was a very passionate and an active animal lover.Manpreeth had a good sense of humor.Satish was very friendly with everyone.Kiran was another young member but still a vegetarian and an animal lover.

The next day we all met at Satish's office at 10:30 am and two more girls joined us.One was Shravanthi and the other one was Gyandeep Kaur.We left for Citi Center.Three of us rushed into the bathrooms and got into our costumes when a man objected us and asked,what was going on.Then we came out and stood in a line holding the placards and fake animal carcasses in our hands.In the next five minute we were surrounded by around 15 media people with their cameras clicking continuously.The sun was hot as we started walking on to the traffic junction and we started sweating behind our masks.But our love for animals was more than anything else.

After the event, we went to Cafe Coffee Day and ordered Vegan shakes for all of us.After Himani was done with her computer work we left for lunch at Chutneys.We ordered Veg. Thali's and coke.We chatted for a while and took some group photos.We exchanged our contacts and email Id's and left for the office.We saw our photos on the lappie and chatted for a while.Kiran started questioning Himani about Peta's work.He said that Peta should do more of a hands on work for animals rather than spending money for travel and publicity.She told that,Peta doesn't get the money to help each and every animal but they do rescue animals and as Peta has only one office in India,that is at Mumbai it's very difficult to reach other places.I don't want to talk more about the debate but it ended on a good note.The hands were shook and finally it was the time to say Good Bye.The first ever Peta Demo in Hyderabad just turned out to be a great success.
