And then I watched Veer Zaara. What I liked about the movie was that it was different from the rest of the typical SRK romantic movies. The love story made two people cross boundaries not only mentally but also physically. It shows what true love is and that even if you let go,it will surely come to you, if was meant to be yours. The song Do Pal Ruka was simply mesmerizing and I played it back again and again from the Railway Station scene where Zaara bids adieu to SRK.The style in which Veer proposes to her in front of the fiancee was perfect. My favourite dialogue from the movie is when Veer rescues Zaara in a rescue operation and says,
"Aisa toh nahi tha ki usse zyada khubsurat ladki maine kabhi dekhi nahin thi,Par pata nahin kyun, uski chehre se meri nazar hat thi nahi thi.. "
And then,Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday. If you want to know the real plot and people behind the '93 Bombay Blasts then you need not read any book or search Google.Just watch this movie. It feels like a documentaryThe scenes and characters look very dark and real.Kay Kay Menon's acting is astounding. The same director's movie,Udaan.Man, the movie is simply amazing. It shows that when a person has a true passion towards something then not even God can stop him.Ronit Roy's performance was so real and awesome. My favourite scene is when Rohan abuses his father and runs away from him.And also the last scene when he asks his step-brother to come along with him.
So that's about some of the movies I recently watched. The next thing that comes to my mind is AMERICA.After the recent air-raid in Pakistan by the US Navy Seals and the successful assassination of the king of the terror world,Osama Bin Laden, many people started putting their own views either in blogs, newspaper columns or even you-tube.Some say that they couldn't believe that Osama was actually killed in the raid and some started questioning why the US released only one picture of him and why was it so hast in burying him in sea without showing him to people. Some even said that, he should have instead been arrested like any normal criminal and put in prison so that people could see him.As I was gong through some videos on You-tube I came across some videos which said that the whole 9/11 was an inside job carried out by the US and the blame was laid on Laden. Bombs were supposed to be installed at various locations in the twin towers by US itself and that George Bush was behind all this conspiracy. They claimed that the hi-jacked planes were all false and even posted some video proofs to support their comments..I just don't know who to believe. All these politicians are MoFo's who make the ordinary people fools.
The cricket mania has hit my house, especially my sister who is going haywire about cricketers and the sport. She watches every other DLF-IPL match and also some of the highlights of old matches. Then spends hours before the computer tweeting to her favourite cricketers and when she gets a reply from any of them she shares it with all of us.Ross Taylor and Scott Styris are replying her every other day.I just managed to watch two matches live in the stadium, one was DC against RR and the other one was, DC against PWI.The second match was incredible due to the presence of Dada after a very long time. The whole stadium was going mad and even the DC fans were cheering for him.One guy even managed to come out into the ground and catch Dada's feet to his surprise, only to be taken back by the security personnel. That's the status of cricketers in India presently.I read that M.S.Dhoni was listed in the Times Top 100 influential people in the world, even ahead of Barack Obama. Now I heard that Sri Lanka is going to conduct the Sri Lankan Premier League in July 2011.Seven teams are going to participate and the Pakistani cricketers have also been auctioned this time around. It is going to be an 18 day tournament with 2 matches every day.But will it be able to survive before the grand success of the IPL? We should wait and see.
